Benefits:

Basswood is soft,  homogeneous, white-coloured with a touch of rose. Light and soft basswood is quite viscous, easy and clean to cut along and across the fiber, does not warp or crack, easy to paint and polish.

How to use:

Basswood plank is perfect for construction of steam room benches and furniture for other sauna rooms. Useful tips for construction of sauna benches and furniture:  The upper bench width should be 500–600 mm for comfortable lying or sitting. The middle bench width should be 400-500 mm for comfortable sitting. The lower bench width should be max. 400 mm. Planks should be mounted at a 5–10 mm distance for optimal air circulation in the sauna.
