The door is made of 8 mm tempered (safe) glass. Toned glass, bronze colour. Tempered glass is extremely strong and it is unlikely that the door breaks. However, if it still happens, the glass will fall into small pieces without harming anyone.
The glass door is very durable and has a long service life.
A 50 mm door clearance ensures better ventilation of the sauna.
Glass sauna door PL50S, bronze The glass door makes the hot room seem larger and creates a special warm design. The glass has polished edges and chamfers.
Door frame made of premium basswood planks with 42х90 mm section. Larger cross section makes the door frame stronger and guarantees high performance. Compensation joints on the outer side of the door frame prevent deformation.
All frame components are joined together by thermal sealing (joints have special chamfers to help preserve the door's appearance in a high-temperature and moist environment).
High performance of the glass door is ensured by special temperature-resistant silicon sealer.
A silicon sealer between the door leaf and frame prevents air leaking through gaps around the door perimeter.
The sealer survives temperatures of up to 170oC and does not loose elasticity even when kept compressed for a long time, i.e. has no memory ability.
The door is fitted with large comfortable solid basswood handles, three right or left hinges, and a latch (Abloy, Finland). Latch and hinges are adjustable and specially designed for sauna doors. Latch and hinges are bronze-coloured. The latch ensures a tight closing of the door.
The door is simple and easy to mount.
