Wet/dry sauna stones Red Quartz, weight 20 kg, packed in a carton box. Produced in Russia.
Application:
Red Quartz stones are used in the wet/dry sauna stove for heat accumulation. The stones release heat to bring sauna air, walls, benches and ceiling to the required temperature. When splashed on heated sauna stones, water evaporates to deliver high-temperature steam that heats the bathers.
Material:
Red Quartz is natural rock with a homogeneous mineral composition. Produced in Karelia, it has been used as a finishing material for essential architectural elements (for example, the altar in the St. Isaac's Cathedral, memorial plates in the Kazan Cathedral, and reception halls of the Winter Palace in Saint Petersburg). Red Quartz is a beautiful ecologically clean rock; its physical and mechanical properties make it perfectly fit for use in a wet or dry sauna stove.
Red Quartz benefits:
High strength
Low water absorption
Resistant to abrasion
Durable.
Use:
Before placing in an electric stove or wood burning stove, wash the stones to clean dust and air-dry them, remove small or damaged stones. Leave some distance between the stones to allow air circulation. Put larger flat stones on the bottom, and smaller stones on the top.
When laying stones in an electric stove, do not change the distance between the heaters. Electric stove heaters should be fully covered with stones (5–8 cm over heaters is recommended).
